LPL Presidents letter:
Thank you for visiting the Devils & Round Lakes Preservation League (LPL) website.
With a “Mission to Preserve and Protect the Lakes for Current and Future Generations”, we are very dependent on members to support our activities both in the way of membership dues and volunteering. Whether it be water quality/testing, picking up trash from the roads around the lakes or educating residents and visitors of the threats presented by Aquatic Invasive Species.
The LPL has supported the lakes area by supporting other community organizations. Through generous donations from many of you, we participated in the Kiwanis Christmas Basket project by providing bags of paper goods, personal hygiene items and boxes of cereal. We also supported the Men’s Club by sponsoring a hole at their golf event and by donating the monetary prizes for the Tip Up Fishing Contest. We also donated to the Devils & Round Lakes Fireworks Display, Inc. For the 4th of July fireworks display. The LPL also gives up to two $1,000 scholarships each year.
